ジーン・パーソンズの73年ファースト・ソロ作「キンドリング」。
後期バーズの強力ドラマーだったジーンですが昔の仲間に囲まれてぐっとリラックスしたシンガー・ソングライター作品を作りました。
参加メンバーはバーズ以前のナッシュビル・ウエストからの仲間であるクラレンス・ホワイト、ギブ・ギルボウをはじめヴァッサー・クレメンツ、ビル・ペイン、ニック・デ・カロ、アンディ・ニューマーク等々超豪華です。ちなみにジーン自身もギター、バンジョー、スチール・ギター、ベース等を演奏しております。
内容はこのメンツから想像される通りの優しさあふれるカントリー系シンガー・ソングライター作品で、この手がお好きな方なら文句なしでしょう。ロウエル・ジョージの「ウィリン」演ってます。
