70年代初頭に2枚の素晴らしい作品を残したマイケル・ゲイトリーの2作目「スティル・ラウンド」。
韓国のBIG PINKからめでたくCD化されてその筋では拍手喝さいを浴びましたね。
この人はソフトロック名盤"If You Don't Want My Love"でおなじみロバート・ジョンのソングライティングのパートナーとして知られた人で、そのロバート・ジョンもプロデュース、曲の共作等で全面参加しています。
1曲スワンプ・ロックが混ざってますが、基本はささやき系のヴォイスとメローグルーヴが心地よいメロー系シンガーソングライターの名作です。
探そうとしてもなかなか出てこない1枚。
オススメ。
